Please read our Registration FAQ
In 2023 we will be using CompetitionSuite to manage registration. Please carefully read this FAQ to prepare for registration on November 1st.
NCPA is still working to provide a venue and host for Show #1, February 11th, which can provide the best experience for our ensembles. Due to this, we will postpone Show #1 registrations and give you two weeks advance notice before registration opens. All other shows are set to open for registration at 12pm PST, November 1st.
New in 2023
On April 15th we will be returning to Stockton Arena for the first time since the 2019 season! Stockton Arena is a 12,000 seat indoor arena, home of the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League, and located along the waterfront in downtown Stockton. A number of improvements on the 2019 show are underway, including expanded parking, organized warm-up areas, better lighting, a double-panel of judges, and general admission ticketing. This marquee event will be the largest winter percussion event in NorCal history and is open to groups of all percussion circuits. More details will be released throughout the season. Register on November 1st to secure your spot!
Due to popular demand, and a highly productive discussion at this year’s NCPA Summit, we will be adding a Percussion Scholastic Regional A Class to all events in 2023. Geared towards high schools with lower-level A-class skill sets, the goal is to provide a more rewarding and educational experience at NCPA events. This class will leverage A-class adjudication sheets, with judges instructed to have a more generous tolerance then A-class. NCPA reserves the right to reclassify ensembles on an as-needed basis.
